Clacton Constituency Labour Party has always had strong ties with not just members but our community too.  We believe in working together for a common good - a better local area for all.  This has already been started in Tendring with the SureStart scheme and WarmFront both making great differences for families. 

It seems as if every time we open the local paper we find another reason why Labour is best locally.  Whether it is Douglas Carswell talking down his own constituency or Conservative councillors making false allegations against other councillors, the only action we are seeing from the local Tories is negative.  Within TDC’s administration, Labour is seeking help for Jaywick, providing new toilets and play areas, introducing Disabled Go, continuing the work to deal with the flood defences at Holland along with so many other important issues for local residents.

The more people we have supporting this work- the more we can achieve and we need Ivan Henderson back in Westminster and Labour county councillors in County Hall.  But we want to do more, which is why We're Backing Ivan.  Ivan Henderson is a local person who grew up locally, worked locally but campaigned nationally for Tendring.  Even whilst he isn't MP at the moment, he is still working for Tendring - Kirby Sports Pavilion a shining example.  Please show your support by visiting Ivan's website and signing up to We're Backing Ivan or get in touch.  Every single person backing Labour makes a genuine difference.
