Saturday 26th March will go down in history. It will always be remembered as the day when half a million people of all ages, all walks of life and all areas of the country took to the streets in a peaceful magnificent festival atmosphere and cried out a defiant message. This message was to Cameron, Osborne and all those MP's who fully support their policies of cuts and attacks on our communities. The message was loud proud and clear no more cuts no more attacks this is not our crisis we will not pay for it. The message should be heeded as the half a million on London's streets were supported in their millions across the country. From Clacton I am very proud to say we went up as a community united against the cuts. My union GMB sponsored the transport and thus we had a tremendous mood of collective defiance from our Clacton area. On may 5th there are local elections and we need to channel this spirit for a victory for common sense. Beyond that there is a general election where our community will decide the fate of Carswell the supporter and implemented of these cuts. On saturday the people of Clacton made their voices loudly heard in that and said in regards to Douglas Carswell, there is a clear alternative. On Saturday 26th March the people of Clacton alongside the people from all over the UK marched for that alternative. Keith Henderson
